101 Drive-In: Uncover the Heart of Burger Bliss

I drove over 3 hours to try their western burger, and it was well worth it !!! I also had the onion rings, and deep fried zucchini, washed down with a shake. Fat boy gotta eat!!! My family had a great trip !

Been back to this place a few times now and love the cheeseburgers here! I always get a double cheeseburger (huge locally sourced never frozen beef) , waffle fries (far superior then the standard cut), and a chocolate shake. This puts me back about 20$ which for everything included makes this my go to burger place whenevwr I have the craving. Just to make sure to call ~20mins ahead to avoid any long waits

It is a rare occasion when i gush over hamburgers, there are too many reasons to list. Often it’s price, sometimes it’s quality of the meat (thanks Sysco) or skimping on the rest of the ingredients. I was blown away by the food at this spot. First we were greeted warmly and playfully which was very nice. The spot was sheltered, had a great breeze on a hot day and even had a bathroom. The staff listened, answered all our questions and the food was perfectly timed and cooked. My patty melt almost made me cry, I can’t begin to tell you how badly I already want another. The wontons were good, we tried a mix of regular and jalapeño which were more flavorful than spicy. The garlic fries were tremendous too and my guest wanted to go back for another burger after we arrived back on our the coast. They have shakes next time I’ll try, I love ice cream. Their tea is fire as well. This is a must when you want a burger and more.

Ben and Will it’s for a long time homemade hamburgers. You get a lot of food for the money hamburgers are bigger than the 1/3 pound they say they are.

Such a cute little restaurant to stop into, very accessible from the road. The cashier was very friendly and the food was amazing, though took a little long to make. My dad had an interesting encounter with another man, referencing me, which was creepy. Other than that food was amazing and service was good.

Get the double cheeseburger. Don't get me wrong all their burgers are great, but the avalanche of cheesy, meaty goodness that oozes into your belly overwhelming your taste buds is optimally achieved with their double. Their buns hold the entire thing together spectacularly as well. Dont miss this place if you're driving by and how do you not know of this place if you're local?

I very much liked my lettuce wrapped 101 Jalapeno Burger. I would choose this over a protein-style in-n-out burger any day! The price point was very reasonable, but not as low as the other burger chain I'm already comparing it to. My husband thought his cheeseburger was good and satisfying too, but not something he'd go out of his way for. This place does hit the spot though after driving an hour on CA-20 E to get back to the 101. I'd recommend if you're passing by!

Stopped here for lunch on the way to Ft. Bragg. Ordered the Hatch Green Chile burger with a half and half order of fried mushrooms and zucchini. I also had to get the onion rings too. Washed down with a delicious banana shake. Service was quick unlike some of the other reviews. Everything was hot and tasty and fresh. Would return to try other menu items.
